ELIGIBILITY:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The April 2025 Reveal a Deal Contest is open to all residents of Canada, EXCLUDING QUEBEC, who have reached the legal age of majority in their province or territory of residence, except employees (and those with whom such employees are domiciled), representatives or agents of WorldWide Furniture (the “Sponsor) and their advertising and promotional agencies (collectively, the “Contest Parties”).

THE REVEAL A DEAL PERIOD:
The Contest period begins on April 1, 2025 at store opening and ends on April 30, 2025 at store closing (the “Reveal a Deal Period”).

OBTAINING A REVEAL A DEAL CARD:
During the Reveal a Deal Period, a limited number of Contest cards (the “Cards”) will be available in Participating Stores (each a “Card”). Cards are available while supplies last (7,000 total across Nova Scotia).

SAVINGS:
One of the following discounts is available on eligible purchases upon the redemption of a valid Card: $50, Free Delivery, $100, $200, $300, $400, or $500 (each, a “Savings Prize”).

ODDS OF SAVINGS:
All valid Cards contain Savings Prizes. Savings Prizes are distributed randomly on Cards according to the following probabilities:
($50) 37%: 1 in 2.7; (Free Delivery) 30%: 1 in 3.333; ($100) 25%: 1 in 4; ($200) 3%: 1 in 33.333; ($300) 2%: 1 in 50; ($400) 2%: 1 in 50; ($500) 1%: 1 in 100.

REDEEMING A SCRATCH CARD:
To be eligible, visit a Participating Store during the Reveal a Deal Period. At the time of purchase, the cashier will provide you with a Card to scratch. Scratch the Reveal a Deal scratch area in front of the cashier to reveal your Savings Prize. IF THE PORTION OF THE “REVEAL A DEAL” SCRATCH AREA IS REVEALED OR TAMPERED WITH PRIOR TO THE TIME OF PURCHASE, THE CARD AND SAVINGS PRIZE IS INVALID.

You must correctly answer the following skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid to claim your Savings Prize [(5 × 5) - (12 ÷ 4) =__ ]. You will be entitled to use the Savings Prize on one transaction of only those items presented to the cashier prior to the time the Savings Prize is revealed. No purchase is necessary. You are not obligated to proceed with the transaction, but the Card and Savings Prize will become void once scratched. No substitution for, or transfer of, the Savings Prize will be allowed except at Sponsor’s discretion. All Savings Prizes will be awarded only to confirmed winners at time of purchase. Returns made on purchases using a Card will require the original receipt.

EXCLUSIONS:
Appliances and the purchase of gift cards are excluded from savings prize discounts.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
This Contest is subject to all federal, provincial, and municipal laws. Void where prohibited. The decisions of the Sponsor with respect to all aspects of this Contest are final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal, including, without limitation, any decisions regarding the eligibility/disqualification of Cards, Savings Prizes and/or entrants.

By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other use of his/her name, address, statements about the contest without further compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by the Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, and the Participating Stores in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the Internet.

Cards will be declared invalid if forged, defaced, mutilated or altered in any way. All Cards are property of the Sponsor and each Card will be retained by the cashier following the scratching of the Card or the use of the Card in an eligible transaction.

In the event, due to a printing or production error, more than the advertised number or proportion of Savings Prizes are claimed, at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, there will be a random draw amongst all eligible Savings Prize claimants to award the correct number of Savings Prizes after the Scratch and Save Period.
THE CONTEST PARTIES AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS (collectively, the “Releasees”) SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY A WINNER IN THE EVENT IT IS SUBSEQUENTLY DISCOVERED THAT THE WINNER HAS DEPARTED FROM OR NOT FULLY COMPLIED WITH ANY OF THE CONTEST RULES.

The Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw, amend or suspend this Contest (or to amend these Contest Rules) in any way, in the event of any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor that interferes with the proper conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these Contest Rules, including, without limitation, any error, problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or failure of any kind whatsoever. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest in any way (as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion) may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend this Contest, or to amend these Contest Rules, in any way without prior notice or obligation, in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind, or for any other reason whatsoever.

By entering the Contest, each entrant expressly grants to the Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, the right to store, share and otherwise use the personal information submitted with his/her Card only for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy (available at: https://worldwidefurniture.ca/pages/policies). This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide the Sponsor or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information.

The Sponsor reserves the right to adjust any of the dates, timeframes and/or other Contest mechanics stipulated in these Contest Rules, to the extent deemed necessary by Sponsor, for purposes of verifying compliance by any entrant, Card, and/or other information with these Contest Rules, or as a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of the Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the Contest as contemplated in these Contest Rules, or for any other reason.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Contest Rules or the rights and obligations of participants, Sponsor or any of the Releasees in connection with the Contest will be governed by and construed in accordance with the domestic laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws. The parties hereby consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Nova Scotia in any action to enforce (or otherwise relating to) these Contest Rules or relating to this Contest.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to release the Releasees from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability, including but not limited to negligence and damages of any kind to persons and property, including but not limited to invasion of privacy (under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory), defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights, property damage, or death or personal injury arising out of or relating to an entrant’s participation in the Contest.
