The “WorldWide Furniture 53rd Anniversary Sale Weekly Giveaway” is sponsored by WorldWide Furniture (“Sponsor”). This contest is governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”). By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the contest, as determined by Sponsor and its agents, are final in all respects. The contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

Eligibility

1. The WorldWide Furniture 53rd Anniversary Sale Weekly Giveaway (the “Contest”) is open only to residents of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island who are over the age of majority in their province of residence at the time of entry. Employees, representatives and agents of WorldWide Furniture (“Sponsor”), and its parent companies and affiliates (including, without limitation, The Atrium Home Furnishing Centre, Ashley HomeStore (Atlantic), Gallery 1 Furniture, and Advanced Furniture Distribution), and advertising and promotion agencies, as well as the immediate family members (spouse, children, parents and siblings) and those living in the same household of such employees, representatives and agents are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter

2. Go to a participating WorldWide Furniture location during business hours between Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 10a.m. and Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 8p.m. (the “Contest Period”). Fill out a paper ballot and deposit it into the ballot box at that location. The participating locations are:

     •  60 Highfield Park Drive, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

     •  41 Washmill Lake Drive (Bayers Lake), Halifax, Nova Scotia

3. No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase will not increase the odds of your winning. Ballots are available on request from any associate at either participating location during business hours, without any purchase or transaction of any kind.

4. Limit one (1) ballot per person per weekly entry period per participating location. A ballot must be completed in full with the entrant’s name, a contact telephone number or email address, and province of residence.

5. Ballot boxes are not emptied between weekly entry periods. A ballot remains in the ballot box at the location where it was deposited for the balance of the Contest Period and is eligible for every subsequent weekly draw conducted at that location, up to and including the final draw on September 3, 2026, unless and until it is selected as a winning ballot. Entrants who enter earlier in the Contest Period will therefore be eligible for a greater number of draws than entrants who enter later. A ballot deposited at one participating location is not eligible for draws conducted at the other participating location.

6. In the event of a dispute over the identity of a potential winner, the potential winner may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that he/she is the person identified on the entry submission and is otherwise eligible to win.

7. Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, incomplete, falsified, damaged, illegible or failed entries of any kind, which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate in this Contest. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Any and all lost, incomplete, falsified, damaged, illegible or failed entries will be disqualified.

8. Entry in the Contest constitutes your consent for Sponsor, or its agents, to collect and use your name, address and other personal information for the purpose of administering this Contest. Entry does not constitute consent to receive commercial electronic messages. An entrant may separately and optionally provide express consent to receive marketing email by checking the designated box on the ballot; that consent is not a condition of entry and may be withdrawn at any time.

Prize Draws

9. There are ten (10) prizes to be won in total, being two (2) per weekly entry period — one (1) at each participating location — with a total approximate retail value of $16,290 CAD. On each draw date set out below, one (1) winner will be randomly chosen at each participating location at 9:00a.m. Atlantic Time from among all eligible ballots then contained in that location’s ballot box. The first entry ballot drawn at a location, and who otherwise complies with these Official Rules, will be eligible to win the prize designated for that location and week. The winning ballot is removed from the ballot box and is not eligible for any subsequent draw; all other ballots remain eligible for subsequent draws at that location. The chance of being selected will depend on the number of eligible ballots contained in that location’s ballot box at the time of that draw.

10. An entrant may win only one (1) prize during the Contest Period, and any subsequently drawn ballot bearing the name of a prior winner will be set aside and a replacement ballot drawn.

Each prize is awarded as the specific item described above. Prizes are non-transferrable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Where an awarded item is unavailable, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute an item of equal or greater retail value.

Delivery will be included across the Halifax Regional Municipality, delivery outside of that region will be at the expense of the recipient. Pick-up is also available at our Warehouse at no cost.

Confirmation of Potential Winner

12. Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to contact a potential winner by telephone (if a telephone number is provided) and/or email within two (2) business days following the date of the relevant drawing. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within the time specified above, does not complete the necessary eligibility forms (outlined below) within two (2) days of his/her being informed of his/her name being drawn, does not correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question, is not otherwise an eligible entrant, or does not otherwise comply with the Official Rules, he/she will not win any prize. In this event, the prize will be awarded to an alternate entrant, who will be selected from among the remaining eligible entries at that location. Any alternate winner will have the same rights and obligations as the original winner. To claim the prize, a potential winner must comply with the Official Rules for this Contest, must correctly answer unaided a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by Sponsor, and must fill out and return a Declaration and Release, including a Publicity Release, within two (2) days of his/her being informed of his/her name being drawn. A representative from the store will coordinate prize redemption and delivery with the winner.

Miscellaneous

13. By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. No cash or other substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Return of any prize notification as non-deliverable or failure to comply with the Official Rules will result in disqualification, and an alternate entrant may be randomly selected in accordance with the Official Rules. All taxes for prizes are the sole responsibility of the individual winners.

14. By participating, entrants agree: (1) that Sponsor may (unless prohibited by law) use winner’s name, city of residence, photograph, image and/or likeness for advertising and other promotional purposes, without further review or compensation, in any media, in perpetuity and worldwide; and (2) to hold Sponsor, its parent, divisions, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and other agents, and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents and assigns harmless against any and all claims, loss, liability, injury or damage to entrant or any other person or entity due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of their acceptance, possession or use of a prize or their participation in this Contest.

15. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, lost or late entries, or for other errors or problems of any kind, whether mechanical, human or otherwise, which may limit or affect in any way an entrant’s ability to participate in this Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of this Contest or in the announcement of the prizes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this Contest; or (c) inaccessibility or unavailability of a participating location on any particular day.

16. Sponsor reserves the right (1) to disqualify any entrant and void any entries of an entrant who has engaged in unsportsmanlike conduct, fraud or other misconduct relative to this Contest or otherwise attempted to tamper with or impair this Contest; and/or (2) to cancel, modify, suspend or terminate this Contest, for any reason, including if, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, applicable laws or regulations, tampering, unauthorized human intervention or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control destroys the integrity of this Contest or otherwise corrupts or impairs the administration, security, legality, fairness or proper conduct of this Contest or any part thereof.

17. Sponsor also reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of this Contest, or to be acting in any manner Sponsor deems to be in violation of the Official Rules or disruptive, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

18. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Personal Information

19. Personal information gathered by Sponsor will be used for the purposes of administering the Contest, contacting potential winners and as otherwise permitted or required by law, and in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy (available at: www.worldwidefurniture.com/pages/policies

20. The Contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws. The Contest and the Official Rules will be exclusively governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia. Any dispute arising hereunder shall be governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and shall be adjudicated in the applicable court in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
